Who: 	Children entering grades 1-7

Cost: 	$85 per camper

What: all campers will get professional individual basketball skills instruction, 

a camp T-shirt, a healthy daily snack, and loads of fun!    

Dr. “Coach” Cliff McManis has 25 years of coaching and teaching experience, 

having coached at the elementary, high school and college levels. He has coached city 

teams in Sunnyvale the past 6 years. This clinic will emphasize fundamental skills that 

children of all levels of ability will be able to implement including the following: perfect 

lay-up form, the 6 essentials of free-throw shooting technique; correct passing technique; 

defensive stance, footwork and strategies; numerous dribbling and ball-handling drills; 

body-control; mastering the rules of the game; conditioning drills; learning to be a team 

player; learning to respect others (the ref, fellow teammates, the other team and fans); 

understanding the proper balance of competition; learning how to be a good winner and 

loser…emphasizing all this in the context of fun and a Christian world view.
