Membership
We believe in church membership, a commitment to a local body of
believers. Membership is a way of declaring that you agree with the
church's mission and vision, of committing yourself to being a part of
achieving what God has called us to do, of demonstrating your intent to
connect with this part of God's family, and of acknowledging your
partnership with other believers.

What is membership, exactly?
The difference between church attenders and church
members can be summed up in one word: commitment.
While becoming a Christian means to commit yourself to Christ,
becoming a church member means to commit yourself to other
Christians. It is a commitment to a specific group of believers - to
practice the "one-another's" of the New
Testament.
We are commanded to love one another, pray for one another,
encourage one another, admonish one another, greet one another,
serve one another, teach one another, accept one another, honor one
another, bear one another's burdens, forgive one another,
submit to one another and be devoted to one another.
Think of it as the difference between telling someone that you
love them, and marrying them. That's a whole other level of
commitment!
